The VIII. MDA RIDE Will Really Take Place at Václavské Náměstí in Prague on June 18th, 2016!
18. February 2016
The MDA RIDE has managed to raise 2 787 000 CZK to benefit the both associations of people affected by the incurable muscular dystrophy, ie. Muscular Dystrophy Association in the Czech Republic (AMD) and The Parent Project, over the first seven years. We are preparing already the eighth MDA RIDE charity event this year, which will take place at Václavské náměstí / Wenceslas Square (Můstek) in Prague on July 18th, 2016 from 10 to 18 o'clock. The Prague City Hall Council member Mr Radek Lacko is giving his patronage over the event. The event is also supported by the City Hall of Prague 1, represented by Mr Richard Bureš, the Prague 1 Deputy Mayor.
Visitors and friends of the MDA RIDE idea will spend this day together with muscular dystrophy patients and will have a great time with them in the lower part of Václavské Náměstí (Wenceslas Square), Můstek while listening to good music and visiting booths and attractions of the MDA RIDE partners. There will also be available a plenty of legendary Harley-Davidson motorcycles as well as motorcycles of other brands, Ford Mustang cars together with wonderful veteran cars or luxury supersport cars. Those will then together participate at the traditional ride, the Graceful Ride Through Prague, from 13:30 o'clock. The sick children can already look forward for an exclusive ride in the Ford Mustang cars and other vehicles.
A yearlong work of a large group of volunteers will culminate by organizing this event. Those volunteers supported by many donors and partners have created this noble tradition of the MDA RIDE in the Czech Republic. The MDA RIDE is the largest motorcycle charity event in the Czech Republic, the only such project in the European Union and the second one in Europe (after the Swiss Love Ride).
